Scan handwritten notes and PDFs into editable text
Take a photo of a page or add a PDF and NoteQuik turns it into text you can study from.
- Photos, PDFs, Word and PowerPoint files and YouTube links (lecture audio on Pro)
- You review the text before it is added
- Then make flashcards and quizzes from it
- Files are private to you
How do I add a photo or PDF?
On any note, choose Take photo, Photo or PDF. The file is stored privately in your account. Choose Turn into notes and NoteQuik reads the text.
Do I get to check the text?
Yes. The extracted text opens in an editor first, so you can fix anything that was misread before adding it to your note. Hard-to-read handwriting may need corrections.
Can I bring in Word files, videos or lectures?
Yes. Import a Word (.docx), PowerPoint (.pptx) or text file as an editable note, with no AI involved. Slides come in with their titles, points and speaker notes. Paste a public YouTube link and NoteQuik makes study notes from the video. On Pro, you can also record a lecture or upload audio and NoteQuik turns it into notes. You review the text before it is added.
Videos and recordings use your daily scan allowance: about 5 pages for a video, and 1 page for every 2 minutes of audio. Lecture recording and audio upload are part of Pro.
Are there limits?
The free plan includes 5 scanned pages a day and Pro includes 60. A PDF counts one for each page. If a PDF is longer than what you have left today, NoteQuik offers to read just the first pages.
